About us

L3Q consists of a team of three people. Raymond Verkade, Wilco Bouvrie and Peter van Heesewijk together form a multidisciplinary team that is ready for the integral challenges in the field of laboratories. But that’s not all: L3Q is part of Oosterhoff, an ecosystem of 12 companies in the built environment. In this way, L3Q can always make use of the knowledge of more than 600 colleagues, from installations to construction cost management to area development.

The team

Wilco Bouvrie

With more than 20 years of experience with technical installations within utility buildings, including a large number of laboratories, Wilco has the experience needed for the realization of laboratories. Thanks to this knowledge, Wilco is able not to lose sight of the technical aspect when designing laboratories. Flexibility and safety are guaranteed not only under the ceiling but also above it.I started my career in the drawing office at a renowned installation consultancy and am now a consultant. I have gone through various positions within the company, and I see this as a huge plus. I am good at estimating how a design process runs from start to finish and how important everyone's role is in it. In recent years, I have been no stranger to designing laboratories and talking to users. By broadening my knowledge of Laboratory Furniture and the requirements and possibilities associated with this, I can take a broad view of your assignment.

Raymond Verkade

With 20 years of experience in the technical design of buildings, Raymond has the experience needed to realize good buildings. By broadening his knowledge with laboratory advice, a broad field of work is created in which he plays a central role in the coordination. With a broad network within Oosterhoff, he also knows how to find an answer to every question. As a construction project manager, I know the parties in a construction process and I work from a BIM model and with an integral view. Broadening my field of work with laboratories gives me new energy to be able to provide integral advice for your laboratory question.

Peter van Heesewijk

Peter is the founder of L3Q, and has more than 30 years of experience in the field. Peter has broad experience from his involvement with various consultancy firms, furniture manufacturers and laboratory equipment for the purpose of realizing laboratories. In addition, he has gained a lot of experience with ML-II and ML-III environments. As an independent laboratory designer and consultant, I am proactively committed to your laboratory. Advice, design, installation, product development, tendering and construction supervision: I have mastered all aspects relating to the realization of (micro)biological and chemical laboratories in recent years. I have worked for many public and private research institutes in Germany and the Benelux and have gained a lot of experience in ML-II environments. I am the coach who helps lab users design.
